Reaction calorimetry provides information quickly which can be applied to quantify the risks and criticality associated with a chemical process. Reaction calorimetry helps identify key process parameters, including:

  • Reaction Enthalphy
  • Thermal Conversion Rates
  • Maximum Temperature of the Synthesis Reaction (MTSR)

Identifying critical process parameters is imperative so that variables, such as the dosing rate, can then be modified.
