The 2011 American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Annual Meeting – to be held October 16-21 in Minneapolis, MN – features a number of sessions on crystallization and evaporation.
Bing-Shiou Yang (Principal Engineer, Boehringer Ingelheim) and I will chair the PAT for Crystallization Development and Manufacturing session. This session welcomes presentations on recent applications of Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) for development and manufacturing of crystallization processes. PAT applications may include various spectroscopy (FTIR, NIR, Raman), particle size and counting techniques, and other online or inline monitoring or sensing techniques. Novel approaches and methodologies to drive crystallization development are of particular interest.
Submit your abstracts to AIChE online by May 2, 2011. During the submission process, choose the Separations Division (02) to find all of these sessions sponsored by the Crystallization and Evaporation group.
