I am happy to announce that the 18th International Process Development Conference (IPDC) will be held September 25 to September 29, 2011 in Weggis, Switzerland. This year’s conference will focus on workflows from compound development to manufacturing in the pharmaceutical, fine and specialty chemical industries:
- Chemical and Early Phase Development
- Process Characterization and Crystallization
- Process Safety and Scale-up
Special focus areas for the 18th International Process Development Conference will be:
- Process Analytical Technology/Quality by Design (PAT/QbD)
- Continuous Processing & Flow Chemistry
I am excited that the conference will feature a variety of presenters from multinational and local chemical and pharmaceutical companies. The presentations represent common, as well as company-specific, approaches to problems and provide a platform for discussions. We are fortunate that most well-known multinational pharma, fine and specialty chemical companies have a presence at the International Process Development Conference.
If you were not able to join us for the 17th International Process Development Conference held in May 2010, you can read about some of the presentations here.
