  • Better Process Understanding – A  better understanding of the reaction mechanism leads to a faster optimal synthetic route

Historically, kinetic analysis has not played a more central role due to the way kinetic data is collected.  Pioneered by Donna Blackmond of the Scripps Research Institute, the Reaction Progress Kinetic Analysis (RPKA) methodology simplifies kinetic studies of organic reactions in fewer experiments.
